Artificial intelligence (AI) has many potential applications in courts. Given the fundamental importance of the rule of law, AI must be introduced carefully and responsibly. This session focused on potential applications of AI — and the benefits. At the same time, it discussed the challenges the use of AI presents and what can be done to mitigate the associated risks.
